Weekly Photo Challenge: Object

It’s a while since I have participated in what’s happening photo-wise on wordpress, however,  I hope to be more involved in 2014.  My interpretation for this challenge  ‘Object’  is that I took in Melbourne, Australia on a flight path out of the local international airport.  I thought this photo was appropriate because the ‘object’ is not obvious, which draws the viewer into the photo: what is the object?  The  negative space, the clouds, or the actual piece of metal at the bottom of the  image.  Since we all tend to associate objects with a ‘thing,’ or several inanimate things.

I love the challenge that this mixture of perspectives bring.

Weekly photo challenge: Horizons

This image was taken at the end of the driveway on my 10 acre property overlooking the adjacent farm.  The horizon is a constant source of change and dare I say it…inspirational.  What’s more, the cloudscapes are magical.

Weekly Photo Challenge: An unusual POV

Here is one of my photos which was taken at a bus stop outside of Melbourne, Australia and it definitely gives an unusual point of view about where one is going – I think. The idea that one is waiting and another is also arriving is a very strange point of view.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Fleeting

My response to this week’s photo challenge was taken near Melbourne Airport and the image captures the  juxtaposition of a car and an aeroplane both  heading to where they need to be.  The idea was to capture where the airport meets the road…what could be more fleeting than that  ???
